Refund Policy
POLITIQUE DE REMBOURSEMENT : ANNULATION DE L’INSCRIPTION (en cas de blessure/maladie) en cas d’annulation due à l’un des événements suivants: • un accident, une maladie grave ou la mort du coureur; • Maladie grave nécessitant des soins hospitaliers ou le décès d’un conjoint ou d’un partenaire inscrit, d’ascendants ou de descendants au premier degré dans les trente jours précédant l’événement. Pour toute demande de remboursement en raison d’une blessure / maladie, un remboursement total des frais d’inscription sera considéré sur la présentation d’un certificat médical valide ou tout autre document officiel, jusqu’à 10 jours après l’événement Les demandes incomplètes seront jugées irrecevables. Pour de plus amples renseignements, veuillez composer le 6019318 ou envoyer un courriel à [email protected] ANNULATION D’UNE INSCRIPTION (autre que maladie/blessure) Le remboursement des frais d’inscription payés sera effectué par le crédit du compte bancaire utilisé pour l’enregistrement: Les frais d’annulation (hors frais bancaires) seront les suivants : Avant le 29 mars 2020- un remboursement de 100 Entre le 1 mars et le 30 mars 2020 – un remboursement de 60 Entre le 1 avril et le 15 avril 2020 – un remboursement de 30 Après le 16 mai, aucun remboursement n’est effectué. L’échange de numéros de dossard n’est pas autorisé. Toute demande d’annulation de l’inscription doit être envoyée par courriel à l’adresse Contact : [email protected]. Aucun retrait effectué par téléphone ou par télécopieur ne sera accepté. Tous les remboursements seront effectués 2 semaines après l’événement. REFUND POLICY: CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION (in case of injury/illness) in cases of cancellation due to one of the following events: • An accident, serious illness or death of the runner; • A serious illness requiring hospital care or death of a spouse or registered partner, ascendants or descendants in the first degree within thirty days prior to the event. For any refund request due to injury/ illness, a total refund of the registration fees will be considered upon the presentation of a valid medical certificate or any other official document, up to 10 days following the event Incomplete applications will be considered inadmissible. For more information, please call 6019318 or mail on [email protected] CANCELLATION OF A REGISTRATION (other than illness/injury) The refund of registration fees paid will be made by the crediting of the bank account used for registration: Cancellation fees (excluding banking charges) will be as follows: Before the 29 March 2020- a 100% refund Between the 1st of March and the 30th March 2020 – a 60% refund Between the 1st of April and the 15th of April 2020 – a 30% refund After the 16th of May no refunds made. Swapping of race numbers is not allowed. Any request for cancellation of registration must be sent by e-mail via the Contact: [email protected]. No withdrawal made by telephone or fax will be accepted. All refunds will be made 2 weeks after the event.

CHALLENGES AND BREATH-TAKING SCENERIES
The fifth edition of the Mauritius Tour Beachcomber (MTB) will be held from April 30th to May 2nd, 2020. The competition will yet again beckon mountain bikers in the very depth of a vast playing field loaded with challenges, discovery and breath-taking sceneries. The Beachcomber touch promises a dreamlike experience at each pedal stroke on unique trails, an experience where participants will expend their energy while contemplating the ocean from afar.
Mauritius is more than an upmarket beach destination. Those who turned their gaze inland, were enthralled by its beauty. Who would have thought a few years ago, that a territory of 1865 square kilometres and 828 meters high, could hide an ultra-trail of 120 kilometres and unveil to the most courageous explorers, over 4500 meters of ascent right in the middle of diverse and rugged landscapes?
The Beachcomber group took up the challenge in 2014 by launching the Ultra-Trail Raidlight Beachcomber (UTRB). If running in the wilderness is fun, so can be mountain biking. This is how the idea of the Mauritius Tour Beachcomber emerged. It is the ideal platform for mountain bikers to unleash their competitive and adventurous spirit in open air. Fitness outdoors can also be two-wheeled!
The fifth edition promises to be more spectacular. It confirms the innate potential of picturesque Mauritius to combine physical effort and the quest for authenticity in the most secret and isolated places.
