DIRT SCHOOL MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB
What to expect:
These sessions are designed to combine skill-building with an element of fun. The ride begins with a focus on teaching the fundamentals of mountain biking, including bike handling, body positioning, and balance, traction control, braking techniques. Children are guided through various exercises and drills that help them develop their skills and confidence on the bike. The skills we cover are all progressional and this not only keeps the children engaged and motivated but also allows them to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical and enjoyable manner. The session ensures that children not only learn important mountain biking skills but also have a great time doing so, fostering a love for the sport and a sense of accomplishment.
Your child needs to know how to ride a bike and be fairly confident.
Skills we cover will include:
- Bike/body separation, Braking, Corners, Berms, Switchbacks, Drops, Jumps.
- What to bring:
- Bike, Helmet, Closed shoes, water
3rd Term Fee - R900

Our Skills Clinics are taught by BICP Certified Skills Instructor Fiona Williams, *INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED* by the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) with the shared vision of changing lives through Mountain Biking.
