LATE ENTRIES AT REGISTRATION
Pre-entries for the Illovo Wartburg Classic MTB & Trail Run are open until 21 February 2024
Late entries are available at registration on Saturday morning at Wartburg Kirchdorf School.
However, if you are planning on a late entry on Saturday, please make sure you have registered and created your profile on the ROAG website (https://roag.org/) and have your ROAG number handy so the entry process is super-quick and easy.
For safety reasons, all entrants have to be registered so the organisers know your details in case of an emergency.
Pre-entrants will be getting their final race instructions and batch information via email on Friday morning, but the following are the details you need to be aware of if you are taking part.
Dear Illovo Wartburg Classic entrant
Illovo, the Wartburg Kirchdorf School and ROAG look forward to welcoming you and hosting you on Saturday.
REGISTRATION:
Registration will take place from 04h45 to 08h15 and will take place in the indoor centre at the Wartburg Kirchdorf School. Please ensure that you come through registration AT LEAST 60 minutes prior to the start of your race in order to avoid any last minute rushes. Loadshedding is scheduled for the entire registration time so riders and runners are asked to arrive early to ensure any delays do not cause you to be late for your start.
MEDICAL INFORMATION:
All entrants are asked to update their personal information on the ROAG.org website prior to the event. Should there be an emergency, the first point of access for the first responders is your medical and emergency information in your ROAG profile. Please ensure at the very least your medical information and your emergency contact information is up to date and accurate. You can update your information by using your ROAG number and ID number to log into your profile, and then make the changes under My Profile and My Info. Please ensure you Save Changes after updating.
TIMING:
All events 7km or longer will be timed with prizes being awarded in the age categories for the correct relevant distances. This event will be timed by Elite Timing. If you do not have a timing sticker AND barcode you can purchase a sticker at registration for R10 from the Elite Timing table. You can get a new barcode from the Elite Timing table for free. Please note cash and Zapper only will be accepted for payment.
NUMBER BOARDS:
The ROAG MTB Boards and ROAG Running Bibs will be used for this event. Please make sure that you bring yours to the event and stick on the race sticker (you'll receive it at registration) and timing sticker. You will be able to purchase a new MTB Board for R60 and Running Bib for R30 at registration.

Please note that spectators are permitted but spectators are reminded that this event takes place on large tracts of private land and strictly no spectator vehicles are allowed on any private land.
