6km Fun Jog
This hilly 6km course undulating through the heart of the wild terrain of the Bar Le Duc hunting ground has proved very popular with about 1,000 participants registered in last year’s race.
A fascinating route with vast swaths of rolling scenery, surrounded by nothing but deer, birds, crisp fresh air and awesome mountain scenery in the background. The unique location, a reasonably low elevation and short distance make this course accessible for most levels of fitness.
The perfect event for anyone to enjoy!

Starting in the quaint village of La Laura, this 15km race – whose previous edition attracted some 900 participants – will once again take runners across spectacular mountain passes and lush valleys, a flight of stairs, verdant sugarcane fields and a scenic hunting ground.
Over the first 6km of the course, the trail winds its way up to the pass between two of the highest peaks on the island, Le Pouce and Pieter Both Mountains. The views are simply gorgeous throughout the climb and the descent back into dense undergrowth until reaching Bernardin de St-Pierre Valley. The route then runs through Vallée des Prêtres to Walmykie, where it joins Le Grand Pouce’s course.
The trail climbs up again through the Crève CœurPass before making it to the top of the famous Malenga stairs and traversing around Deux Mamelles Mountain. The path continues across sugarcane fields and through a tunnel to reach the Bar Le Duc hunting ground on the other side of the motorway, only one kilometre from the finishing line.
A complete outdoor adventure combining a fantastic sporting challenge with wonderful panoramas and views!

More than 100 brave competitors took to the start line of the Moka Trail’s main race last year. An amazing trail running experience with some challenging uphill sections and an endless succession of spectacular vistas.
The adventure begins in the small village of La Laura in the centre of the island. A beaten earth track will take runners to the foothills of Le Pouce Mountain, from where they will head into a rather technical descent to the parking area at Le Dauguet. After a short respite, the path winds gently up and down the landscape to the hilly surroundings of Vallée Pitot.
Next on the way is a climb around the side of La Fenêtre Mountain to Batterie Dumas (km 12). This historic site where the French fought their last battle before capitulating to the British forces in 1810 is also the first feed zone where participants can take drinks and food before racing across
