‘The Southern Tropical Challenge was born in 2009 with the dream of a couple of enthusiasts local mountain bikers; they wanted to do a proper and well-organised stage race in Mauritius. Settled in what remains the only wild part of the Island, the race will surprise you with the diversity of landscapes and variation of slopes. This challenge is like no other and will definitely make your rider’s experience richer (even if you do it every year). Mountain, Beach and Beer on the same day with loads of smiles through amazing trails and single tracks; even sometimes opportunity to get in touch with some pro that love to come like Julien Absalon, Karl Platt, Thomas Dietsch, Jerome Clementz, Stephane Tempier, Team Rose … etc.

The Southern Tropical Challenge – Sky to C remains a team of 2 event in tented village and has now become to luxury taste with the hosting at the C Beach Club and no increase entry prices. For 2017, the organisation team add a new format with the shortest route, and is a single rider event. This one will fit every fitness level! It is the Sea to C! Both events are at the same dates, same race village … just different distances!’

SUBSTITUTIONS/CHANGES

- After 30th August any rider changes or substitutions after the entry date will incur a Rs 1000 administration fee

- No substitutions will be accepted after 27th October 2017

CANCELLATION POLICY

100% refund if you have to cancel your registration before the 15th of August.

50% refund if you have to cancel your registration before the 15th of October. No refund after this date.
