General Information

We promised you a bigger, better Stihl Enduro and here it is. A whole weekend of Enduro Riding on the 10th, 11th and 12th of June. Three days of riding, three days of trails, and it forms part of the national Enduro Series.

Entries are limited to 200 people, so get your spot booked to avoid disappointment.

Entries for the following packages close at midnight on Monday, June 6th:
* All food packages
* All camping packages
* All combinations of food, uplift and event packages

Race-only entries close at midnight on Wednesday, June 8th (or when the maximum entry numbers are reached).

Friday uplift-only has sold out.

Friday 10th of June will see a fun afternoon of riding. There will be transport to the start (yes at the top of the hill) and then a few fun rides to get the legs warm for the weekends’ racing.  If you purchase the weekend package the uplifts on Friday are completely free.
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of June will see courses on two very distinct parts of the trails and nothing you ride on Saturday will be repeated on Sunday.  Hylton Turvey is busy building what is going to be SA’s most incredible trail.  Known as Rockwood’s Angel it promises to be out of this world spectacular.  SA Marathon champs will use the top part of this trail, so watch out for some amazing footage.

All entrants will get a Karkloof Cap and other give aways at registration and a hydration drink at the end of each day. 

We have also offered a single day of enduro riding for those that can only do one day.  By doing only one day you are excluded from any competition.

There will be an enduro lite route for those that want something shorter.  Enter as normal and this will be dealt with at registration.

There will be two water tables on each day, well stocked tired rider friendly.  There will also be a Greg Minnaar Cycles sponsored tech zone each day (spares will be for your account)

The Friday afternoon Uplifts will include two lifts to the top of two of our most amazing trails.
 
We would like to encourage you to come and spend the weekend and camp at the Marriott Karkloof Country Club. Bring your friends and family, for an amazing weekend of fun, racing, and entertainment. There will be live entertainment at the Club on both Friday night and Saturday night. 

There are two weekend food packages available

1. Friday night to Sunday lunch – 6 meals.  This will include spit braai on Saturday night and specially prepared meals not the club menu.
2. Saturday Lunch to Sunday lunch – 4 meals as above

Please note that the club kitchen may become very busy over the weekend, and we strongly encourage you to pre order your food and avoid having to wait for this to be prepared for you on an ad hoc basis.

Entries will be open on ROAG from Sunday morning 22 May 2022.  You can also purchase meal packages and camping for spectators under your profile. All packages, food and camping will close on Monday 6th June at midnight, the race only entries will remain open until Wednesday.  A late entry fee will also apply after entries close.

The routes detailed below are going to be used the two days of Enduro.
Day one has been reduced to 4 stages as the distance to ride 5 stages was a bit too far. You welcome to ride IsiKhova at the end of the day if you want to, but it will not count for the race times.

You are welcome to ride the routes during the week, however, please remember you need a day permit from the Club to be on the tails, and you may not drive or park on Sappi or any private land.

Please respect the wishes of private landowners that give us the privilege of using their land.
