This is a team event and is open to all riders who have already entered the 110km event.
There is no entry fee to enter a team, but only riders who have been entered and paid the entry fee to take part in the 110km Road Race will be allowed to be part of a team. A rider may only be part of one team. Failure to comply with the above will render the entire team entry null and void.
Times for teams will be taken on the fifth rider out of six entrants to cross the line.
While the top teams will be recognised, the main prize will take the form of a lucky draw which will be awarded at the main prizegiving to any team that enters a team of five or six riders.
Each member of the winning team for the lucky draw for the Gooderson Leisure Team competition will win accommodation vouchers, including breakfast, for two adults and two children at Gooderson Monks Cowl Golf Resort.
The longest road race predominantly on the M4 north of Durban.
With full road closure at all times, riders will start with the first of two 42km loops, followed by a short 25km loop with a King of the Mountain point at The Ridge, and then the second 42km loop out and back on the M4.
This route will be spectator friendly with friends and family able to see riders and cheer them on regularly.
This 110km race will decide the country's top cycling club with the club competition sure to create fierce rivalry on the road and loads of banter after one club earns the bragging rights for a year.
Single out-and-back loop on the M4 from Moses Mabhida to Mdloti turn-point.
This event aims to give weekend warriors a chance to test themselves with an achievable target. The hills are never too strenuous but the undulating route provides some beautiful scenery and a chance to be part of the aQuellé Tour Durban vibe.
Short flat out and back loop with full road closure on the M4 to a safe turning point at Umhlanga.
This event aims to give everybody who owns a bike a chance to be part of Durban's favourite cycling weekend.
This event is for riders who are comfortable on a mountain bike and able to ride 40km off road.
There are some climbs that will require a decent level of fitness, and riders will need a moderate level of skill, but there are no sections of difficult technical riding.
Intermediate MTB race with some hills and some sections where riders will need moderate skills.
This event is aimed at riders who have some experience of cycling and feel comfortable riding on relatively easy off-road sections.
