INFORMATION ABOUT EVENT
IBL on the Move 2024
On March 2, 2013, Yan de Maroussem, Mauritian athlete, adept at trail and endurance races, was the leader of a tour of the island. Through 5 sports disciplines, kayaking, cycling, running, rollerblading and skiing offshore, he helped to raise public awareness of a cause dear to GML. Over the years, thanks to the partnership with the Joseph Lagesse Foundation, GML On The Move, now IBL On The Move, have tirelessly aimed to encourage the practice of sport for good health, but especially to focus on the importance of self-giving.
In 2024, IBL on the Move supports Pédostop. Created in 2005, Pédostop is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) fighting against child sexual abuse in Mauritius, through awareness campaigns and support to the victims. Since 2015, Pédostop has offered social, psychological, legal, and medical support to victims coming from families with low income. 100% of the registration fees of IBL on the Move 2024 will be donated to Pédostop to help them support more victims.

The participant must compete alone in all 3 events
The entry fee is MUR800, with the option of making an extra donation
The participant may take out an insurance cover for an additional fee of MUR300
The participant must have read the waiver and release of liability as well as the event rules
Distances: Swimming (750m), mountain bike (20km) and running (6km)

Triathlon Relay
Registration is for a team of 3 persons, one person per discipline.
Registration must be done by the team captain.
The entry fee is MUR1800 per team with the option of making an extra donation.
Each participant may take out an insurance cover for an additional fee of MUR300 per person.
Each team member must have read the waiver and release of liability as well as the event rules.
Start time: 7am. More info about race start modalities will be sent by email to each participant.

Insurance
All participants may take out insurance cover for MUR25,000 for injury requiring hospital treatment. All extra charges shall be their sole responsibility. This option carries an additional fee of MUR300 per person.

Parking
SOLO MTB 40KM, RELAY and TRIATHLON:
Parking facilities will be available at Azuri and its surroundings by providing a dedicated parking ticket at the entrance. Places are limited, so we encourage you to carpool. First come, first served.
RUNNING 6KM AND 12KM:
Parking facilities will be available at Mon Loisir Factory with a shuttle system. Places are limited, so we encourage you to carpool. First come, first served.
Please take into consideration that the shuttle transport time may take up to 30 minutes.

Donation Challenge
An extra donation of Rs.25,000 for each challenge time completion will be given to the selected NGO by our sponsors.

Prizes and Challenges
Time ranking:
For the following races: Running 6km, Running 12km, MTB 40Km, Triathlon Individual. Only the first 3 Women and the first 3 Men will be podium winners and will receive prizes.
For the Triathlon Relay, teams can be women only, men only or mixed. The first 3 teams will be podium winners and will receive prizes.Only for the Running 6KM, the categories below will be podium winners and will receive prizes:
- 8 to 10 years old – first 3 girls and first 3 boys
- 11 to 13 years old – first 3 girls and first 3 boys
- 14 to 17 years old – first 3 girls and first 3 boys

Medical
Updated and Valid Medical Certificate or Club License asked for the Tri Solo and the 6km and 12km (above 65years old)
Professional medical teams and ambulances will be present on site at three strategic point.
