The Mauritius International Triathlon is a guilt free, active family ‘fitcation’, balancing race time with play time and down time.

Solo racing over 3 distance options (100km PTO ultra, Standard or Sprint) plus midweek swim-run family activities and the option of team format collaboration makes this beautiful and fun experience accessible to everyone from families to friends & corporate teams.

Now close to the International airport in the South East, we will swim in the incredible protected Marine Park at Blue Bay. The best open water swimming on the island, teeming with tropical fish and excellent visibility.

The good quality, quieter roads explore a very typical Mauritian landscape combining mountain and ocean views. A rolling hills bike course to push hard or enjoy the scenery.

The run course provides a pleasantly distracting mix of sugar cane trails, tar roads and palm tree lined white sand beaches to the incredible finish venue where you will want to soak up the afternoon.

Participants and their families loved MIT 2023. You’ll see why in the video where both tourists and locals enjoyed a fun and competitive day out together in warm water and balmy sunshine.

Mauritius is so much more than food and lazy days by the pool. We hope to see you on the tropical Indian island in September to soak up your passions for travel and triathlon with those you love.

RACE INFORMATION

Aqua Bike is available in Standard & PTO Distances

Sprint Distance - Min age 16yrs - 750mts Swim 20km Bike & 5km Run

Standard Distance - Min Age 18yrs - 1.5km Swim 40km Bike & 10km Run

PTO 100km Format - Min Age 18yrs - 2km Swim 80km Bike & 18km Run

LICENSE

You have until the 11th September  to provide the Required documents to COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS. No athlete will be allowed to participate if they fail to provide the required document.

The required documents will be as follows :

Either :2024 FMTri License holder

OR 2024 License from any National Triathlon federation recognised by World Triathlon AND Signed idemnity form

OR Fill and submit the form for 1 day license - Fill and submit idemnity form - Submit a copy of Mauritius NIC or valid passport - Signed Medical certificate with ECG if > 40 years old

Or For relay teaming only - swimmers can present license of Mauritius Swimming Federation valid for 2024, Cyclists can present license of Mauritius Cycling federation valid for 2024,Runners can present license of Mauritius Athletics Federation valid for 2024. Please note that RTN is not a federation and its membership is not considered as a valid license.

Day License => Purchase of a Day License is mandatory for all  NON-LICENSED Participants. This can be bought in the Mechandise online during the Registration process.The cost is Rs300
