Run For A Cause - Dog Friendly Trail In Mauritius
You both love the outdoors so why not hit the trail together?
Team up with your 4-legged best friend for this 5 km fun run/walk. With a start and finish at Gros Cailloux, this event will attract dogs and people of all shapes, sizes, and athletic abilities.
If you fancy taking part with your dog, you can add a 'dog' to your entry when registering online. All dogs are rewarded with a special personalized medal once they cross the finish line.

Steriliz Ou Zanimo (reg number 16830) is a Mauritian non-profit organization since 2021 dedicated to sterilizing stray and domestic animals to combat overpopulation and prevent mistreatment. It raises awareness about the importance of sterilization, organizes free sterilization campaigns, and funds a Mobile Sterilization Unit to provide on-site veterinary services.

Rules & Regulations
It is mandatory to run with the dog you have registered in your name.
All dogs must be kept ALL THE TIME on a harness on the property of Gros Cailloux, throughout the race and are the responsibility of their owners. We recommend researching the best harnesses available to allow your dog to run in comfort.
Participants running with dogs must be at least 18 years old.
The minimum dog age is 12 months and must be up to date with its vaccines.
Participants are limited to one dog per human.
Dogs that are not registered for the trail will not be accepted at the entrance.
The organizers reserve the right to withdraw dogs deemed aggressive or dangerous from the race.
Athletes must follow all course markings and know/understand the course map.
Athletes who deviate from the official course will be disqualified.
Owners must scoop their dog’s poop.
No tripping, shoving or horseplay will be tolerated and any athlete participating in foul play will be pulled from the course and disqualified.
Competitors who start significantly after the posted start time will be clocked from the first wave start time. No exceptions will be made.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
