Event Overview
Run Through the Soul of the Capital
The Caudan Night Run is a unique 5KM & 10KM night race through the heart of Port Louis, where sport meets the art, culture, and heritage of Mauritius' capital.
Taking place on 22 August 2026, the event invites runners to discover the city after sunset through a 2 routes inspired by the stories, architecture, creativity, and cultural diversity that make Port Louis so unique.
Participants will run past some of the capital's most iconic landmarks, including Place d'Armes, Jardins de la Compagnie, Théâtre de Port Louis, La Citadelle, Champs de Mars, Marie Reine de la Paix, Kwan Tee Pagoda, and Odysseo.
More than a race, the Caudan Night Run is an immersive cultural experience. Along the routes, runners will encounter live music, artistic performances, street art, cultural showcases, and light installations, transforming the city into an open-air celebration of Port Louis' rich artistic and multicultural heritage.
Whether you are an experienced runner or simply looking for a memorable experience, the Caudan Night Run offers a unique opportunity to explore the capital through the lens of art, culture, and community.
