Hi, I'm Edwardo Salvara, a polo athlete and racer, and I have chosen to take part in the Dodo Trail as a fundraiser for EDYCS.

I am supporting EDYCS because they are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with epilepsy and fighting the stigma that still surrounds this condition.
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that causes sudden and unpredictable seizures. While many people have heard of epilepsy, few truly understand the daily challenges faced by those living with it and their families.

This is a cause that deserves more attention in Mauritius. Too often, epilepsy can lead to misunderstanding, isolation, and prejudice. Through education, support, and advocacy, EDYCS works tirelessly to change that reality.

The association does remarkable work by supporting families, managing specialised educational programmes, and raising awareness throughout the country. Their efforts help create a more inclusive and understanding society for people living with epilepsy.
