Fifteen years ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer.

What makes it even harder to accept is how quickly everything happened. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and just a few weeks later, she was gone. At the time, neither she nor I truly understood how devastating this disease could be.

Today, I am taking on this fundraising challenge in her memory and in support of all the women and families affected by breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Care does remarkable work in Mauritius, providing awareness, support, guidance, and hope to those facing one of life's toughest battles. Their work makes a real difference, but they need our support to continue helping those who need it most.

I believe we all have a role to play in building a more caring and inclusive society. This is my way of giving back.
