I am new to this journey, as I have never run for the purpose of helping others

I have always believed I could help someone with whatever means I have, but I could never truly act on it as I didn't yet have the inner capacity to show support openly

Today, I stand in front of you and I chose to endorse SACIM because it feels personal to me: the chance to give another shot at life to children who didn't choose their medical condition, conditions that can't be treated here in Mauritius. They have no control over what they were born into but we have the power to contribute to their future

My wish is to make them feel like they matter, in a world that so often focuses on externalities while forgetting the things that were given to us: humanity, compassion and the ability to help one another
