As a father of two wonderful boys, aged 10 and 5, every step I take in this run has a special meaning. Today, I'm running because my 5-year-old son reminds me every day how precious our children are and how much love, care, and support they need.

This is why I have chosen to fundraising for the Society for Aid to Children Inoperable in Mauritius (S.A.C.I.M.). As a parent, I can only imagine the pain and uncertainty families face when they are desperately hoping for just one more rupee that could help save their child's life.

Around us, many children in Mauritius are living with inoperable medical conditions and urgently need our support. Together, we can give them hope, help ease the burden on their families, and give these children a chance to live.

Today, it is their child. Tomorrow, it could be mine, yours, or ours.
