I personally know a few people who live with epilepsy in Mauritius, some of them mean a great deal to me. Because of that, I want to do something that can make a difference.

Until a few years ago, I didn't fully understand how challenging life with epilepsy can be. Many of us take simple, everyday activities for granted, for example watching a movie, playing video games, or even driving at night. For someone with epilepsy, these situations can sometimes trigger a seizure.

Everything changed when someone I care deeply about was diagnosed with epilepsy. Seeing the daily struggles firsthand opened my eyes to the reality of living with this condition. It also made me realize that epilepsy affects far more than just the individual, it has a profound impact on their families, partners, and friends, who face these challenges alongside them every day.

This is why I have chosen to support EDYCS. My goal is to raise as much money as possible so that EDYCS can continue providing essential care, support, and resources to people living with epilepsy in Mauritius, especially those who cannot afford the treatment and assistance they need.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help improve the quality of life of someone living with epilepsy and support the families who stand beside them.
