Fifteen years ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer. What makes it even harder to accept is how quickly everything happened. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and just a few weeks later, she was gone. At the time, neither she nor I truly understood how devastating this disease could be. Today, I am taking on this fundraising challenge in her memory and in support of all the women and families affected by breast cancer.
